Mesquite is the only wood I work with now because of its stability and strength. It has a richly figured grain pattern that varies throughout the tree. The tight fibers allow the wood to be polished to a beautiful sheen. It seems only natural to be working with such a versatile and storied tree in the heart of the brush country of South Texas.

I discovered your bowls in a little shop in Cloudcraft today and I loved them. We are going to go through San Antonio soon. Is there any possiblity of seeing more of them there? And if so...could you please tell me where. Thank you, Sabine
